Hi there!
Are you suffering with pain? Is it stopping you from doing the things you love? Have you seen “everyone” and it’s still not quite right? Does it keep rearing it’s ugly head?
You should see an osteopath.
What is an osteopath?
Osteopaths are highly skilled, university trained, AHPRA registered health professionals that have a unique philosophy that “the body is a unit”. What does that mean? Well it means we assess how YOU move- your whole body- not just how your “sore spot” does or doesn’t move.
THE BODY IS A UNIT:
We assess how YOU move- your whole body- not just how your “sore spot” does or doesn’t move.
Classically, pain is complex and multifactorial. It might have been there for quite some time. Maybe there was a trauma (something big happened), perhaps there was a slow onset (crept on and never went away), or perhaps you don’t even know why it began! Perhaps you have so seen many practitioners for this pain- and now you’re confused, fatigued, and a bit worried about how to use your body.
You should see an osteopath.
Why should i see an osteopath?

A little bit of history: osteopathy was founded in the late 19th century by Andrew Taylor Still, an American physician. Dr. Still, frustrated by the limitations of the medical treatments of his time, began to develop a new approach to healthcare that emphasised the importance of the body's structure in relation to its function. He called his new system of medicine "osteopathy" and opened the first school of osteopathy in Kirksville, Missouri in 1892.
Since then, osteopathy has evolved and spread to many countries around the world. Nowadays, osteopathy is widely recognised as a form of musculoskeletal care. With lower back pain as one of the major burdens of disease, many health care systems across the world provide access to osteopathy as part of mainstream musculoskeletal care, including Australia.
In WA, there are no universities that provide training in osteopathy, they are all in the Eastern states. There are only 72 of us in WA! That’s probably why you haven’t heard of us. But now you have:
